How It Works

The Chassis Swap Process

From first call to keys in your hand — a clear path for 1950s–1980s trucks and SUVs. No guesswork, no surprises on scope.

  1. Free consultation

We learn about your truck, how you drive it, and what you want from the build. You get an honest read on whether a bolt-in SPEC or OBS chassis is the right fit.

  2. Truck evaluation

We review year, make, body style, rust, and mounting points. You will know what stays on your original body and what the chassis swap changes under the sheet metal.

  3. Chassis selection

We match your vehicle to the SPEC or OBS platform — engineered for your generation with modern suspension, 4-wheel disc brakes, and drivetrain options.

  4. Install & integration

Your original cab and bed stay intact while we swap the frame. Steering, brakes, fuel, and driveline are integrated for a cohesive, road-ready package.

  5. Alignment & shakedown

We dial in alignment, check every system, and put miles on the truck before handoff. You drive away with modern confidence in a classic silhouette.

SPEC & OBS Platforms

Two bolt-in chassis families cover the trucks and SUVs we build most often. Both retain your original body mounts and firewall — engineered to work with your truck, not against it.
